Your privacy matters. The short version: Cube Solver does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Scanning and small-cube solving happen on your device; solving larger cubes uses a solving service that never receives any personal data (see below).
None. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect names, email addresses, location, contacts, or any analytics or usage data.
2×2 and 3×3 cubes are solved entirely on your device. For larger cubes (4×4 through 7×7), the app sends only the cube's color pattern — a short string of color letters, and nothing else — over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our solving service, which returns the moves that solve it. This carries no personal information, no account, and no device identifiers, and it is not used for any other purpose.
The app uses your camera only to read the colors of your cube when you choose to scan it. Images are processed entirely on your device to detect the cube's colors. Photos are not uploaded, stored, or shared with us or anyone else.
App settings, your premium unlock status, the count of free scans used, and your timer history are saved locally on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.
The optional one-time Premium purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple's Privacy Policy governs that transaction.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
